Tribute to Fidget: The Honor of a Legacy Session
Sometimes, the phone rings, and we know the session we're about to book is different. It’s a call filled with a special kind of love, a sense of urgency, and a profound desire to honor a long life, well-lived. This is the call for a Legacy Session, and it is one of the greatest honors we have as pet photographers.
We recently received one such call for an 18-year-old cat named Fidget. Her owner knew their time together was coming to a close and wanted to capture the spirit of her sassy senior queen one last time.
A legacy pet photography session isn't about sad goodbyes. It's about creating a beautiful, lasting tribute. It's about celebrating the quiet wisdom in their eyes, the familiar comfort of their presence, and the unbreakable bond forged over a lifetime. For these sessions, our role is to be quiet observers, to work with infinite patience, and to create a calm, peaceful space where a pet's true essence can be seen and preserved forever.
